CCEIS staff members took part in the international forum “Eurasian Week” in Bishkek
From 25 to 27 September 2019 the 4th international forum “Eurasian Week” was held. The event brought together more than a thousand of expert community representatives, entrepreneurs, state-officials from the EAEU member countries and third countries. “Eurasian Week” is the biggest international business forum on the EAEU territory.
Timofey Bordachev, the CCEIS’s Academic Supervisor, moderated the session “EAEU: Integration Into The Global Market and Market Opportunities in APR”. Leading experts from the EAEU member states discussed the challenges faced by the Union in terms of interaction with third countries and integration associations, as well as the prospects of closer EAEU’s integration into the APR’s value chains.
Besides that, Timofey Bordachev delivered a report during an expert briefing within the “EAEU Young Leaders School” in which he described in detail the experience and specific of the European integration model’s formation and its applicability to the EAEU.
Alexander Korolev and Yulia Belous, staff members of the Eurasian Section of CCEIS, participated in the business game within the “EAEU Young Leaders School” as team curators.
School’s participants had to elaborate on the “Eurasian enterprise’s” brand to promote a product made in EAEU’s member countries to the third countries’ markets. More than 120 young participants from the Union’s states took part in the event.
Projects were presented to the jury composed of representatives of the forum’s organizing committee, the Kyrgyz Republic governance and EDB. The team of Yulia Belous suggested creating the brand of jewelry made of precious stones and metals, which are widespread on the Union’s territory.
The Alexander Korolev’s team presented the project of solar panels manufacturing in the EAEU’s states and their onward export to the countries of the East Europe, SEA and Middle East. The project was awarded the special Audience Choice Awards.
