This year the CCEIS team has been replenished with three postdoctoral fellows, which will work in such areas as Eurasian studies and geoeconomics, the Arctic agenda of the Russian Federation in the context of the transformations of the international system, as well as the US-China Decoupling and its consequences for the world economy

Egor Prokhin

Egor Prokhin is a research fellow at the Сentre for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at HSE University. He defended his PhD thesis on economics and innovation management at the National Research University Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, where he also received his engineering degree at the university’s Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. In 2016, he received his master’s degree in international business administration from the joint program of Fudan University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Shanghai (Сhina). He also pursued business studies at Keio University (Japan) and Tianjin University (China). Egor has work experience in the field of assessment and development of promising business areas at various international companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr. Paolo Pizzolo is a research fellow in International Relations from Rome, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations at LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. He is a Fellow at the Centre for the Cooperation with Eurasia, the Mediterranean, and Sub-Saharan Africa (CEMAS) of the La Sapienza University of Rome. He has been Adjunct Professor of International Relations at Roma Tre University and Adjunct Professor of Conflict and Peace Building at LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. Currently, he is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Higher School of Economics of Moscow.
