Ekaterina Kosevich’s Lecture on Russia–Latin America Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú)
On October 28, 2025, a lecture by Latin America expert Ekaterina Kosevich, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CEMIS), HSE University, and Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Наукозация", was held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima).

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) is a private university founded in 1917 in Lima. It is the country’s leading higher education institution and a recognized national center of excellence in research and teaching.
Ekaterina Kosevich’s presentation, titled “Russia and Latin America in the New World Order,” took place online at the personal invitation of Alan Fairlie Reinoso, Distinguished Professor at the Department of Economics of the PUCP and Head of the LAC–Europe section of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA).
In her lecture, Kosevich presented the findings of her long-term research on Russia’s foreign policy in Latin America and discussed with participants the specific features of the current stage of interaction between Russia and the countries of the region. Special attention was given to how global political and economic transformations are shaping the format and prospects of cooperation between Russia and Peru.
Ekaterina Kosevich’s lecture sparked an active discussion among students and faculty members.
