A series of lectures and speeches by Timofey Bordachev in November
In November 2018, the Director of HSE Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS) Timofey Bordachev took part in a number of international events involving lectures and speeches.
At the Fifth Annual International Seminar for Young Researchers “State-building, New Model of Major-сountry Relations and Global Order” which took place at East China Normal University from November 3 to 6, Dr. Bordachev gave a lecture “Chinese-Russian cooperation in the years of anxiety”.
On November 6-8, Associate Professor Bordachev spoke on the KOR-ASIA Forum 2018 in Seoul, organized by The Hankook Ilbo, South Korean daily newspaper. The topic of the conference was "Peace on the Korean Peninsula, Asia's Opportunity for Progress". Timofey Bordachev spoke on this topic at the Special Session of the forum, as well as during the “Northern Asia: New Challenging Road to Future” session.
On November 8-9 Associate Professor Bordachev took part in the workshop “The EU and Resilience: Interrogating Theory, Policies and Practice” in Rome.
On November 11-15, Associate Professor Bordachev participated in Astana Club meeting titled “On the Road to Greater Eurasia: How to Build a Common Future?”, also joining a discussion with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
On November 9-22, Professor also attended a joint conference of the Valdai Discussion Club and the Malaysian Institute for International Studies (ISIS Malaysia) “Changing Asia in a Changing World” held in Kuala Lumpur.
At the 4th Summit of Russian and Iranian Leading Universities on Kish Island, which was held on November 23-25, Timofey Bordachev, as a representative of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs. gave a presentation “Issues of Forming Non-Western Multilateral Academic Partnerships”.
