Commentary by Ekaterina Kosevich for El Mercurio on Russia–Venezuela Relations

Ekaterina Kosevich, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS), HSE University, PhD in Political Science and an expert on Latin America, provided a commentary to the Chilean newspaper El Mercurio on the current state and future prospects of relations between Russia and Venezuela.

El Mercurio is one of Chile’s largest and most influential print media outlets, widely cited across the Latin American media landscape and in international analytical reviews.

The commentary addressed key aspects of political and economic interaction between Moscow and Caracas, as well as the constraints and opportunities for developing bilateral dialogue amid the transformation of the international environment.
