International Economic Studies Section
We're 20!
The International Economic Studies Section was established in 2019 in order to institutionalise CCEIS’s scientific and analytical activity in the sphere of international economic studies. The section's activities are focused on the new political economy, the drivers of international economic relations, and the economic and development challenges of Russia, its regions, and the EAEU within the context of current development trends in the world economy.
The section's researchers analyse and evaluate:
- prospects for the processes of globalisation
- international and regional economic integration
- institutional changes and global challenges facing humankind
- transformation of the international trading system
- modifications in the system of global value chains
- structural transformation of the global energy market
- leading countries’ models of economic development
The section’s primary goals include:
- the implementation of CCEIS’s applied and basic research projects related to the analysis of the development processes of the world economy
- organising events (eg seminars, roundtables, conferences, forums) for researchers, students, and representatives from the expert community
