Asian vector of world economy and politics in the conditions of influence of new structural factors

On the current stage of development of the world economy alignment of forces is defined not by economic power but by ability to use such factors as availability of food and fresh water and to be among those who make the rules of governance of global climate change. Climate change, water and food scarcity became new structural factors of world economy and politics. At the same time the main feature of the world economy nowadays is rapid economic development of the most of Asian countries and their steadiness to negative consequences to world economic crisis.

Internal economic policy of China and other growing Asian countries will be aimed to redirect the base of economic growth from export to expansion of the internal market (though the role of export will remain important). The growth of the latter’s capacity opens new possibilities of raising the export to Asian countries from Russia, especially in the conditions of the increasing importance of new structural factors.

The project presents the new approach to understanding of nature and reasons of alignment of economic and political forces in the world and bases on recognition of the paramount importance of problems of global climate change, water and food scarcity. While earlier the alignment of forces was defined by military power, scale and level of development of the economy, nowadays the competent use of new structural factors of world economy and politics and deep partnership with growing Asian countries become the main leverage in the world economy.
