The Asia-Pacific Section of CCEIS is devoted comprehensive scientific and analytical support of socio-economic and political processes in the Asia-Pacific region. The section is aimed at deepening cooperation with regional universities and research centres.
The Asia-Pacific Section carries out research projects on issues such as internal processes in China, ASEAN countries, and other states in the Asia-Pacific region. The results of the section's research are regularly published in mass media.
Activities
- Monitoring political and socio-economic processes in APR countries
- Participating in scientific projects
- Strengthening cooperation with Asian universities and research centres; implementing joint projects
- Developing international student mobility programmes in APR countries
- Organising research internships and professorial exchanges between CCEIS and partner organisations in Asia
- Organising events aimed at studying the specifics of the Asia-Pacific region, such as open seminars, conferences, and summer schools
- Organising career development courses for faculty lecturers in collaboration with colleagues from Asian countries
One of the section's key areas of interaction is work with students and young researchers within the Russian–Chinese Summer School on International Relations and students’ project works. CCEIS employees take part in key events on Asian issues in Russia and abroad.
