Paolo Pizzolo's report "The legacy of Admiral von Tirpitz: a geopolitical understanding of China’s naval buildup through sea-denial strategies"
Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies invites everyone to attend a scientific seminar on the Chinese Navy. The main speaker will be Paolo Pizzolo, Ph.D., Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the CCEIS.
The seminar will be based on Paolo’s article “The legacy of Admiral von Tirpitz: a geopolitical understanding of China’s naval buildup through sea-denial strategies”, in which he explains the puzzle of China’s naval buildup through the lenses of geopolitics and compares contemporary Chinese naval arm race with Wilhelmine Germany’s High Seas Fleet.
