Ekaterina Kosevich Participated in the Russian-Mexican Roundtable by the RIAC and COMEXI

On September 18, 2025, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) in cooperation with the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI) held a roundtable discussion on "Russian-Mexican Relations: A View from Moscow and Mexico City."

From the Russian side, Ekaterina Kosevich, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS) at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), and a specialist in Latin American studies, participated in the event as an invited expert on Mexico.

During the discussion, which was conducted in Spanish, experts from both Russia and Mexico addressed the following topics:

• The characteristics of modern Russian-Mexican relations.

• The factors hindering their development.

• Trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

• The prospects for further collaboration and the positions of Moscow and Mexico City.

• The role of expert circles and the possibilities for cooperation between RIAC and COMEXI.
